So one of my friends got this game by backing it through Kickstarter, which was a huge success on Kickstarter. We gave it a try and the game play is very well thought up. This is designed for up to four players. Each round a player takes possession of controlling the monster as well as their player character. Oh and it perfectly okay to make calls to benefit the player characters. The combat system is flawless and and leaves little to interpretation. You basically have a village and level your village as you level your character gear. I thought this was an exciting part of the game. You get resources from the monsters you kill to level your gear and village. You sorta have a construction phase between monster battles. This is a campaign style game with lots of flexibility that makes it easy for players to come and go as needed. This flexibility makes it appealing to folks who have families and can't devote time that you need to for some games. The game felt like an old fashion online rpg game but on a tabletop. The miniatures are stunning for plastic, The game is pricey but after you see the amount of miniatures and the make of the board you will understand. i strongly encourage you to watch some game play footage of the game. All in all I look forward to playing it and even more grateful a friend bought it for us to play it.
